Situated at the southern part of Mie, Uenoya is found along Kumano Kodo, a series of pilgrimage routes that have been used since the ancient times. The hotel was renovated from a 150-year-old inn.

From Isekashiwazaki Station (JR Kisei Line): Around 10 minutes on foot.
By car: Exit the Kisei Expressway at the Kisei-Ouchiyama IC and continue along Route 42. About 3 min from the Kisei-Ouchiyama IC.
By bus: Take the Nankitsu express bus and get off at the Kisei-Ouchiyama IC-mae bus stop. From there it takes 5 min on foot.,
