Free car park in front of apartment around the park area and harbor area. Often there is place just in front of our apartment. Please do not park at the private parking at the back entrance or block the pedestrian crossover.
Direct available by agoda chat/ phone/ can offer local support if required. During night time we might not be available directly.
Ishigaki and the surrounding islands are very versatile. You can do anything you like on this island, to just name a few:
• Move around by car, motor bike, e-bike, bicycle, quad, parapente or even by horse. Off course just by foot, run or hike beautiful mountain paths and everywhere you look you are surrounded by beautiful and serene scenery. Take a boat to visit any of the surrounding islands from the Ferry or charter a boat at the harbor.
• Watersports such as swimming in the blue sea or various indoor and outdoor pools of one of the resorts around, dive between manta’s, snorkel, windsurf, surf, SUP, kit surf, fly boards, fish tours and you can even swim with dolphins.
• Relax and refresh by just do nothing, yoga, yoga on a surfboard, beach, professional massage therapy. Or by looking at the beautiful stars (there is even an observatory). Enjoy early sunrise and stunning sunsets.
• Food is one of the main reasons the island attracts so many visitors. The local Ishigaki beef is very famous. Eat most delicious dishes in one of the restaurants, or get amazing beef and just bbq somewhere on the beach side. In almost every shop or vending machine you can find the local brewed Orion Okinawa beers. See our map in the pictures to see what is in walking distance around out apartment.
• Arts and handcrafts make your own pottery, glass, jewelries, sisha's or any other local handcraft visit a unique sisha art park.
• For the kids it is a true paradise. There are abundant of safe playgrounds. The Banna park has one of the biggest playgrounds even fun for adults. All facilities and restaurants are child friendly.
• Shop till you drop. For those looking forward to also enjoy Japanese shops, Ishigaki offers you all of the typical Japanese shops, such as 100yen shops, Don Quijote, AON and many many local shops more.
• Party in downtown restaurants and bars, indulge yourself into the local culture music and even local nightlife.
• Events are there all around such as festivals and sports events such as marathons, triathlons, etc.
• Discover the local nature and animals, especially on Iriomote where the nature is abundant. Visit the fire flies in early eve in the Bana park in Ishigaki.
• For the romantic you can even decide to propose and marry in one of the beautiful chapels!

Best option is to rent a car which you can simple pick up at the airport and also deliver back, alternatives are public transportation, taxi's, motor and e-bike rental, bicycle's and travel by foot.
