Founded in the Edo era, this quiet hotel known for its food was a favorite of such greats as artist Taro Okamoto and film director Akira Kurosawa. There are six baths using water constantly flowing directly from the hot spring source. The open-air bath offers a splendid panoramic view of the area. The inn welcomes guests with cordial service and kaiseki cuisine using locally grown produce.
