Kaigetsukan takes pride in its fresh seafood and beef dishes, which are very popular. It has a large panoramic bath, a bar, and karaoke rooms. It is perfect for walks along the shore or through the forest, and fishing. It takes 5 minutes on foot to the express bus stop and the port.

From the Sumoto Highway Bus Center: about 6 minutes on foot or about 1 minute by taxi.
By car: Exit the Kobe-Awaji-Naruto Expressway at Sumoto IC and continue along Route 28 for about 10 minutes (5 km) and on to the Prefectural Route for about 5 minutes (2 km) heading towards Sumoto Port.
