Built in 1874, with over 140 years of history, this long-established hotel in Kochi is proud to have been an accommodation for the Imperial family. Located at the heart of Kochi City, this hotel affords easy access to sightseeing spots. The hotel boasts of a panoramic open-air bath where guests can relax while looking down at the Kochi Castle Town area.
[Cuisine]
Offering the best of the region, from the fresh seafood of Tosa Bay and ingredients from the mountains of Shikoku, the hotel provides mainly regional cuisine as well as a variety of dishes both Japanese-style and Western-style. Seared smoked skipjack tuna, a Kochi specialty, is cooked over straw-fueled fire by the chef. Feel free to watch the chef cook this specialty from 18:00 onwards.
[Sightseeing]
The popular Kochi Castle is just 10 minutes on foot. Niyodo River, also called Niyodo Blue as it boasts of unparalleled water quality and clarity in all of Japan, is a 30-minute drive from the hotel. Enjoy a sightseeing program with over 40 original activities to experience.

By plane:
- From Haneda Airport: 90 min to Kochi Ryoma Airport.
- From Kochi Ryoma Airport: Take an airport shuttle bus to Kochi Station (35 min).
(Flights are also available from Nagoya Airfield, Itami Airport, and Fukuoka Airport.)
By train:
- From Shin-Osaka Station: Take the Nozomi Shinkansen to Okayama Station (45 min).
- From Okayama Station: Take the Limited Express Nanpu train to Kochi Station (170 min).
