A pure Japanese-style ryokan nestled in the lush greenery of the mountains. All rooms are Japanese-style facing the river, offering guests a calming space to relax. The separate open-air baths for men and women are quite popular due to their hot spring waters soft to the touch. Also on site are 4 family baths each with its distinct charm.

From Bungo-Nakamura Station (JR Kyudai Main Line): 45 min via bus bound for Sujiyu (there are a limited no. of trips per day, so please check in advance).
By car: Exit the Oita Expressway at Kokonoe IC and continue along National Route 210 and Prefectural Route 40 or Shikisai Road for about 30 min. Landmark: Shikisai Road, Sujiyu Onsen. Tire chains may be required during winter.
