Located in the northern regions of Kumamoto lies the origin of Hotel Shirasagi's hot spring waters - Tamano Onsen - where the waters have been richly supplied for over a thousand years by the clear streams of Kikuchi River and the tranquil Ariake Sea. This antique ryokan features both Japanese and Western-style guestrooms and a large banquet hall.

From JR Hakata Station: Take the JR Kyushu Shinkansen bound for Kumamoto and get off at Shin-Tamana Station (about 42 min). The hotel is about 25 minutes from the station on foot or about 7 minutes by taxi.
By car: Exit the Kyushu Expressway at Kikusui IC and continue along Prefectural Route 16 for about 15 minutes (about 12 km).,,,,,,,,,,Breakfast is usually offered as a buffet style.
