By car: Exit the Meishin Expressway at the Kyoto-minami IC and continue along Route 1 in the direction of Togetsu-kyo Bridge and Hanshin Arashiyama Station towards Kyoto city center. Go west along the Marutamachi-dori towards Arashiyama for about 15 min.
From Hankyu Arashiyama Station, Randen Arashiyama Tram Station: About 5 min on foot.
From Saga-Arashiyama Station (JR Sagano Line): About 15 min on foot; 5 min by taxi at around JPY 640 (as of Nov. 2014).
From Kyoto Station: Take the bus to Hankyu Arashiyama Station. Alternatively, take the Kyoto City Bus No. 72, 73, 74, or 83 and get off at the Nakanoshima Park bus stop. It is about 2-3 min on foot from there.
From Osaka Itami Airport: About 80 min by taxi at around JPY 6,000 (as of Nov. 2014).
