Our Kyoto-Gion “Machiya” has finally opened up in 2019.This property is located north of the Gion District right adjacent to the well known Hanami Street and Kamogawa River.Despite the neighborhood being rather quiet and slow-paced, it is relatively close by to Kawaramachi, Kyoto’s downtown area. Antique shops, department stores, restaurants, Japanese goods, and the world-renowned Nishiki Market, are all within 15 minutes away by walking! Please, come and enjoy your stay with us in this unique Kyoto Machiya. We have 4 seperate houses with each of them varying in terms of ambiance.
