Quaint old 1-story row house, small 1LDK & private garden, around a 15-minute walk from JR Emmachi or Uzumasa Tenjingawa subway. Fiber LAN & Wifi. Quiet, traditional neighborhood. Peaceful retreat in beautiful historic Kyoto. Bicycles provided.

Quiet and relaxing space. All of the rooms can be separated by sliding doors. This house has a 3 guest maximum occupancy with 1 double futon set available and/or 2 single futon sets available (dependent on number of reserved guests). Please note that setting one double and two single futons will reduce the space in the house.
This is an old Japanese house, in a quiet old neighborhood, simple and charming. It is comfortable for those not seeking luxury or a modern environment, and for those who prefer something quirky to something smooth and polished. Because it is an older house, with attached garden, it is sometimes difficult to keep all of nature outside--we have repellents on hand, but you may see some insects.
Please be warned: It can be a bit cold and difficult to heat thoroughly during the winter months, as well as the opposite during the summer. There is one air conditioning/heating unit installed in the main room. There is also a new gas heater installed, that can provide additional warmth for the central area of the house. The toilet and bath areas for this listing are both located outside the main house, adjacent to the private garden.
