世界文化遺産である西本願寺からほど近い、細い路地を入ったところに佇む「鈴 突抜」。 突抜町には、豊臣秀吉が天下統一を成し遂げた際に上京から下京へ「突抜」という通りを通し そこに町が成立したことから「突抜町」と名が付いた歴史があります。 当時、下京は商業地区であり民衆の町、上京は屋敷の立ち並ぶ富裕の者が集まる町となっていました。 当施設は1階を下京に見立て、親しみやすい緑色を基調にした内装に カンナなどの職人の道具や伝統工芸品を展示する事で職人の町を 2階は上京に見立て、ブラウンを基調としたダークカラーの中にアクセントとなる紫色 銀屏風デザインのベッドスローで格式高い屋敷をイメージした設えにしております。 突抜の歴史を再現した当施設では、一棟の町家にいながら雰囲気の異なる和の空間を愉しんで頂けます。
