There are several World Heritage Sites nearby. The hotel is 5 minutes by car from JR Saga-Arashiyama Station. A free shuttle bus also operates (runs on a set schedule, reservation required). Staff clad in kimono bring guests seasonal dishes from Japanese cuisine, which has been designated as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. Guests here will certainly have a fascinating stay as they enjoy looking at gorgeous folding screens showing trees and flowers of the season, an ox-drawn coach and other elegant furnishings on display.

From JR Saga-Arashiyama Station (Sanyo Main/Sagano lines): Leave via the North Exit and board a No. 91/93/11 Kyoto City bus bound for Shijo-Karasuma or Kinrinshako to the Hirosawa Goshonouchicho bus stop (about 2 min). It is about 1 min on foot from there.
