As a traditional wooden machiya houses with a 100-year-old history, “Pinkdream” house was renovated in 2018 and fitted with newest modern facilities. With a superb location and situated in a central yet quiet resident area at Gion, it is a great choice for travelers interested in old town exploring ancient landmarks of Kyoto by walks. An abundance of well-known sightseeing resorts and shopping areas are within walkable distance.

11 minutes walk--to reach the city's largest shopping district along Shijo Street at the heart of central Kyoto. The shopping area along Shijo Street is centered around the intersection of Shijo and Kawaramachi streets where you will find the Takashimaya and Marui department stores. If you continue along Shijo Street across the Kamo River toward Yasaka Shrine, the large stores give way to smaller shops selling fashion and Kyoto specialty foods and crafts.
12 minutes walk—to reach the most famous geisha districts in Kyoto. Packed with bars, traditional teahouses, Michelin cuisine restaurants, dessert and chocolate shops, crafts and art galleries along with everything else from fashion, food, Kyoto-style clothing (Kimono) to general goods all in one place.
15 minutes walk—to reach Kiyomizu-dera Temple which is one of the best place to enjoy the beauty of Kyoto City, especially in red leaf and cherry blossom season.
