Offering indoor and outdoor private reservable hot-spring baths, Ryukeien features Japanese-style accommodations with forest views. Guests can wear the provided Japanese Yukata robes and request relaxing in-room massages. A free shuttle is available from Kurokawa Onsen Bus Terminal, which is a 3-minute drive away. The air-conditioned rooms feature a flat-screen TV, a safety deposit box and a private toilet. Guests sleep on tatami (woven-straw) floors in Japanese futon bedding. Toothbrush sets are provided and you can enjoy green tea by the seating area. Bathrooms are shared. The public hot-spring bath is available for male guests only, and drink vending machines are on-site. Free parking is available. Traditional multi-course meals are served for dinner at the guests’ rooms. A Japanese set breakfast is served at the shared dining room. Ryukeien Ryokan is within a 5-minute drive from Meotodaki Falls and a 25-minute drive from Kuju Forest Park Ski Resort. JR Aso Train Station is a 50-minute drive and JR Hita Train Station is a 1-hour drive away.
