Ride a cable car and admire the delightful scenery of one of Japan's top three secluded regions while heading down to one of the country's best hot springs. This hotel offers guests the chance to have a soothing soak in an open-air bath with hot spring water flowing naturally from its source, a rarity in Shikoku.
It takes about 5 minutes to the open-air bath approximately 170 meters below. Hop on the cable car and take a leisurely ride down the cliff on a 42-degree decline. Separate baths for males and females are filled with hot spring water that flows from the source. Take a relaxing soak and feel one with nature as you enjoy breathtaking views of the Iya River and the Iya Valley mountains right before your eyes.

Japanese-style guest rooms with tatami floors, exuding a traditional style atmosphere, are provided. The rooms feature a combination of Japanese and Western aesthetics, offering guests a tranquil place to rest. There are different types of guest rooms, from standard rooms to rooms with a sweeping view of Iya Valley, and those with open-air baths or panoramic baths. (There are 3 rooms furnished with beds.)
