Legend holds that this inn's hot spring was discovered by Yoshitsune and Benkei (a distinguished samurai warrior during the twelfth century and his loyal monk retainer). Located at the edge of the Oguni River, the inn welcomes guests with cuisine prepared with locally produced ingredients.

From Shinjo Station (JR Yamagata Shinkansen): Take the JR Rikuu East Line bound for Naruko / Furukawa and get off at Semi-Onsen Station (about 20 minutes). About 8 minutes on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Yamagata Expressway at Higashine IC and continue along National Route 13, then Prefectural Route 54 for about 60 minutes (40 km).,Breakfast is usually offered as a buffet style.
