This inn offers two different famous kinds of hot spring in one place. Though situated right next to each other, the large communal baths and open-air baths are actually filled with hot springs from two different sources.

From Ueda Station (JR Nagano Shinkansen Line): Take a train bound for Nagano Station on the Shinano Line and get off at Togura Station (20 minutes). It is about 20 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by taxi from there.

 

Chikumakan classifies itself as a 3 star hotel.
