Hotel New Wakasa - Nara Description
Just 5 minutes' walk from Nara Park and the Daibutsu-den, this ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) offers rooms with private open-air baths. A communal bath was installed in February of 2011. The inn serves traditional kaiseki cuisine with Nara specialties.

Japanese/Western-style rooms with twin beds feature wooden architecture with a warm atmosphere, a twin room with semi-double beds, and a 6-tatami mat Japanese-style room with Okinawan tatami. Enjoy the sight of Mt. Wakakusa and Todai-ji Temple’s Great Buddha Hall while relaxing in the outdoor bath.
*The outdoor bath is not equipped with a washing area or shower. These are available in the guestroom indoor bath.
*When used among 3 or more guests, there will be beds for 2 guests and futons will be prepared in the Japanese-style room.
‘Zen’ type rooms allow for beds, feature flooring with 10 mats of Okinawan tatami, and are simplistic while also giving off a sense of high quality.
