Namba is known as the heart of Osaka. It is the eating capital of Japan, known for its shopping and nightlife atmosphere. Many regional dishes famous of Osaka can be purchased right on the streets. Arcade malls peaking out from every direction house the thousands of shops ranging from used to high end clothing, souvenirs, Anime goods, costumes, sweets, cake, cooking utensils, you name it, Namba has it. All within walking distance of your apartment. A short train ride away can take you to other famous lanmarks outside of Namba. Also serves as a good base while visiting the whole kansai region (Kyoto, Kobe, Himeiji and Nara). Easily take day trips away from Namba and not have to bring your luggage or change rooms constantly.
