From Kanegasaki Station (JR Tohoku Main Line): 7 min by taxi at around JPY 1,500 (as of Nov. 2007).
By car: Exit the Tohoku Expressway from Mizusawa IC and take Route 4 north towards Morioka/Kitakami. Turn left at the 2nd traffic light, and it is 10 min from there. Landmark: Usami gas station.,,,,,
