Akagi to the east, the urban areas of Maebashi and Shibukawa to the south, and Mt. Haruna and Mt. Asama to the west. 16 minutes to Gunma Observatory, 25 minutes to Ikaho Onsen, a major tourist destination in the prefecture, 33 minutes to Kawaba Denen Plaza, the No. 1 favorite roadside station in Kanto, around the world. It is an ideal base camp for sightseeing in Gunma, as it is 56 minutes to the heritage Tomioka Silk Mill, 57 minutes to Mt. Tanigawa, and 73 minutes to Kusatsu Onsen. It is also easily accessible from Tokyo, by taking the Kanetsu Expressway (Nerima Interchange) and getting off at the Shibukawa Interchange, you will arrive at the site in about 1 hour and 30 minutes.
