This is a small Japanese-style hotel located in scenic Miho no Matsubara. Its atmosphere is permeated by traditional Japanese spirit. Just across the inn's garden stretches Hagoromo Coast, and there is a pine forest nearby, providing guests with great scenery for a stroll.
Hotel Hagoromo offers Japanese-style kaiseki cuisine meal prepared with the bounty of Suruga Bay and seasonal ingredients.
Among its traditional Japanese cuisine meals are original creations by the head chef as he pursues excellent flavors.
Enjoy tasting the delicate flavors of thoughtfully prepared food arranged in dishes in an aesthetically pleasing manner.

From Tokyo Station: Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen to Shizuoka Station (80 min).
From Osaka Station: Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen to Shizuoka Station (135 min).
From Nagoya Station: Take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen to Shizuoka Station (60 min).
From Shizuoka Station (JR Tokaido Shinkansen): Take a JR Tokaido Main Line train to Shimizu Station (about 10 min). Transfer to a Mihoyamanote Line bus bound for Miho and get off at the Miho-no-matsubara-iriguchi bus stop. It is about 10 min on foot from there.
*On Saturdays, Sundays and holidays, there is a bus bound for Sekai Isan Miho Matsubara. Get off at the Sekai Isan Miho Matsubara bus stop.

Sightseeing Information:
- World Heritage Site Miho no Matsubara
One of Japan's New Three Views renowned for its superb beauty, Miho no Matsubara offers postcard views of Mt. Fuji magnificently framed with rows of pine trees estimated to be hundreds of years old. The place is also well known as the setting of the legend of Hagoromo, where the hotel based its name.
- Kami no Michi
This road stretching 500 meters connects Miho Shrine and Hagoromo no Matsu, where Miho no Matsubara is located. The view of pine groves filled with trees roughly 200 to 300 years old is truly captivating. The hotel is located just past this road.
- Haguruma Shrine
Legend says that this is the place where the fisherman Hakuryo met the tennyo, a celestial maiden.
One of the local customs is writing a wish on a stone to make it come true. It is also said that you may meet someone special.
- Helene's Monument
This monument was established in commemoration of the French ballerina Helene Giuglaris, who was fascinated by the story of the Noh play Hagoromo but passed away before getting a chance to visit Miho no Matsubara, the place she longed to see. A lock of her hair is buried underneath the monument.
- Nihondaira
Located between the cities of Shimizu and Shizuoka, this place was selected as one of Japan's 100 scenic landscapes.
- Toro Ruins
