Passing through the garden's bamboo thicket and into the foyer, the lobby's tatami mats and atrium immediately greet guests with a distinctive Japanese-style. Fresh water is constantly flowing into the hot spring and the cuisine is prepared from local ingredients, one reason why Shibunoyu is able to offer a different type of kaiseki cuisine every month.
