Placing importance on traditional hospitality, Hidatei Hanaougi is a ryokan that boasts communal baths and open-air baths with milky hot spring water flowing from Kamishiro-no-Yu, a natural hot spring source. For meals, enjoy delicious dishes prepared with the seasonal bounty of the mountains including Hida beef.
Natural wood is abundantly used in the calming guestrooms, which are equipped with an LCD TV, air purifier, fridge, and free Wi-Fi connection. All rooms have a bathroom and toilet. Yukata and amenity sets are provided.
On site are spacious communal baths, open-air baths, a private open-air bath (requires reservation), and a foot bath. Guests can even arrange for a relaxing massage in the guestroom (additional charges required). Also on site is a salon for relaxing in after a bath, as well as a souvenir shop.
For dinner, indulge in an aesthetically pleasing Kyoto-style kaiseki course meal featuring Hida beef and other local ingredients in a completely private room. For breakfast, enjoy Hida Takayama's regional dishes and locally grown rice.
Hidatei Hanaougi is 7 minutes by car from JR Takayama Station. A free shuttle bus can be used for transfers between the ryokan and station or the Miyagawa Asaichi (morning market).

- Between Takayama Station and Hanaougi: 14:15 - 17:15, every 30 minutes (every 15 and 45 minutes past the hour).
- From Hanaougi to Miyagawa Asaichi: 8:00 - 11:00, every 30 minutes (every hour on the hour and at 30 minutes past the hour).

From Central Japan International Airport: Take the Meitetsu Airport Line bound for Nagoya to Nagoya Station (28 min).
From Nagoya Station: Take the JR Takayama Line bound for Takayama to Takayama Station (135 min).
From Takayama Station: 25 min on foot; 7 min by taxi.,[About Meals] Please note that the menu cannot be changed on the day.
