This resort hotel was established in the great location of Cape Mondo which looks out onto Toba Bay, offering a view of the nearby scenery. Throughout its 50 years of business since its opening, it has entertained esteemed domestic and international visitors, including the imperial family and state guests. On the terrace that extends from the entrance, guests can take in views of Toba Bay as it changes from moment to moment, including a view of the beautiful morning sun as it rises from the open ocean in the distance. For dinner, choose to dine at either the main dining hall "Seahorse," which serves French cuisine, the tradition of classic hotels, or at "Mondo Misaki," a Japanese restaurant which features a concept of "resort washoku," resort-style Japanese cuisine. Each restaurant makes use of unique techniques to prepare a variety of bounties from the land and seas - such as Ise lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef - to serve dishes befitting a resort.
As this location is about 5 minutes' drive from Toba Station, it also offers convenient access for visits to Ise Grand Shrine.

Children under 3 years of age who share a bed with parents stay free of charge. Please contact the hotel if bringing a child of this age. The large communal bath in the Toba International Hotel Shiojitei on the hotel grounds requires a JPY 150 admission fee on-site for adults (junior high school and above). There are stairs when moving between the Ocean Wing and Harbor Wing.
