This lodging, which stands at the entrance to Kiyotsu Gorge - designated as a site of scenic beauty and natural monuments - and features a secluded hot spring with water that flows right from the source. The lodging's private open-air baths located along the gorge are very popular.

From Echigo-Yuzawa Station (JR Joetsu Shinkansen): About 30 min by car or taxi, at a rate of about JPY 5,000 (as of July 2011); alternatively, take a bus bound for Morimiyanohara to Kiyotsukyo bus stop (about 25 min), and it is 20 min on foot from there. (Last bus: 16:40) There is a shuttle bus available from the bus stop.
By car: Exit the Kan-etsu Expressway from Shiozawa-Ishiuchi IC and take Route 353 for about 25 min.
