Located deep in the Hakkoda Mountains is Yachi Onsen - a hot springs lodging that boasts 400 years of history since its opening. Guests can experience the difference of two unique hot spring waters: The 38-degree waters of the Shimo-no-Yu springs which emerge from beneath your feet, and the milky white 42-degree waters of the Kami-no-Yu springs.
