This ryokan is located in the heart of Bessho Onsen, the oldest hot spring area in Nagano. Uematsuya boasts own-grown traditional kaiseki course cuisine and hot spring baths constantly replenished from the inn's own source. The inn has barrier-free facilities for easy access by wheelchair-users and the elderly.

From Ueda Station (JR Hokuriku Shinkansen): Take the Ueda Railway Bessho Line bound for Bessho Onsen and get off at Bessho Onsen Station (about 30 min). It is about 10 min on foot from there. Alternatively, take the Bessho Onsen jointly-operated shuttle bus service.
By car: Exit the Joshin-etsu Expressway at Ueda-Sugadaira IC and continue along Route 18 for about 6 km (about 10 min), then Route 143 for about 12 km (about 20 min). Head towards Kitamuki Kannon Temple.
