All guest rooms at this hotel are in traditional Japanese style. Its shared baths, Tendo's largest, are decorated with pieces from the game of shogi (Japanese chess), for which the town is well known. Guests can also enjoy local Yamagata dishes in a private room at the Roman-tei Restaurant.
