Opened in 1716, this long-standing ryokan (traditional Japanese inn) situated in Zao Onsen is reaching 300 years of operation. Guests can enjoy a blissful time in 7 different types of bathtubs filled with hot spring water constantly flowing directly from the source and savor delicious Zao cuisine using fresh, seasonable ingredients.

From Yamagata Station (JR Yamagata Shinkansen) East Exit: Take a Yamagata Kotsu Bus bound for Zao Onsen to the Zao Onsen Bus Terminal (about 40 minutes). It is about 5 minutes on foot from there.
By car: Exit the Yamagata Expressway at Yamagata-Zao IC and continue along Route 13. Please phone from Zao Onsen Bus Terminal.,Guestroom open-air baths are not hot springs.
