I've been living in this area for the whole of my life. I can just close my eyes and conjure up all small details about this village. And also, I happen to be an extremely outgoing person. So, Why don't we become friends? If you like to go to a mountain right behind our place, called In-Wang mountain, it's going to be a terrific experience to see how Seoul actually looks like from the top of the mountain.
Seo-Chon, the west of GyeongBok-Gung palace has been where government officials, merchants, folks have been living with the baseline of the close-knit community. You can see people in the local markets near our place as well as enjoying traditional food.
You can find 6011 direct-coach at Incheon international airport to GyeongBokGung station. It would take around 50minutes unless it's heavy traffic. From the station, it's 10 mins foot distance to get to the house.
If you find it a bit of hassle, you can also take a bus at the bus stop near exit number 3 of Gyeongbokgung station. (But I wouldn't recommend taking this way cause it could get you more confusion)
