Yidan’s Farm-Sunrise Bamboo Hut with Rice Field

 

 

 

 

This bamboo hut is the first guest house at my farm, designed by myself. With a customized round window framing the whole rice field and mountain view. It has a private wooden bathtub, so you can have a warm bath in the chilly morning or evening here and enjoy the sunrise or sunset at the same time. One the other side of the house, it has a patio with hammock, for you to lay on and take a nap. It has a big patio area for you to chill on the bean bag, hammock, do some reading or simply enjoying the view, with the sound of the birds in the morning, summer times frogs or crickets at night. There’s a private wash basin and wooden bathtub attached to this room. You may take a hot bath and enjoy the sunset/sunrise view from your room. The bathroom and shower is in a separated bamboo house right next to this house. On the other side of this house, it’s a 2 floors bamboo house, with another guest room upstairs, downstair is kitchen and hangout spot. It’s a common area for all the guests. We also have bonfire, grill, all the kitchen tools for you to use. Kitchen, garden, bonfire I would love to show you around the whole farm, all the animals and share with you the stories how I built this place. There are some reservation required activities in Chiang Dao you can book from us, such as bamboo rafting, hiking, reiki healing, pottery making, hang gliding… please message me if you’re interested to know more details of these activities. You might think this place must be in the middle of no where! However the closest 711, super market, PTT gas station, local food market is only 5mins away! If you’re traveling from Chiang Mai, you can take a bus to get here with 1.5hr. Once you arrived Chiang Dao bus station, you can take songthaew to my farm, it costs around 200B normally. However Songthawe are not always available at the bus station, if you may let me know the time when you’re on the bus, we can also send a car to pick you up. Pickup service from Chiangmai city or airport is also available to book for us, costs 1500/ride. You can also drive your bike or car to the farm, the road to my place is very easy to drive. There is no grab service here in Chiang Dao. We have a scooter at the farm you can rent, it’s 300/day. We have lot of animals at the farm, only my dogs and cats sometimes would pay you a visit. However they won’t go into your room unless they’re invited. All of them are super friendly and cuddly. Please don’t book this place if you don’t like animals or if you have severe allergy toward dogs or cats. This is an animal friendly farm, if you have pet ??????️???….they’re welcome to stay with us, but please inform us ahead of time.
