Relax and rejuvenate in the peaceful surroundings, where the only sounds you'll hear are the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves when you wake up. You have complete access to the entire 4,000-square-meter area of the property. The location is situated in a peaceful area in the mountains, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city. At night, it can be quite dark outside, but there are solar lights around to provide illumination, allowing the stars to shine brightly. You can use the light from your phone to navigate, but the darkness is perfect for stargazing. There is a communal kitchen available with instructions for use and house rules, which means you can cook using a portable gas stove and toast bread as you like. Additionally, there is a microwave provided in the room. Instructions for using the washing machine are provided inside the cottage, and you are welcome to use it to clean your clothes. To make your stay more convenient, it is recommended that you rent a car to travel around. The owner can provide you with a list of available car rentals and tours during your stay. It is best to book in advance to avoid disappointment.
After booking the dome, you can contact Alyssa directly to access it. Alyssa (Lamrawee) is usually present to welcome her guests and teach them how to cook local dishes in KaengKraChan. She also leads tours in Petchaburi, which is a UNESCO Gastronomy City, and food tours for food lovers in the award-winning community in KarngKraChan district and Bann Lad from TAT (Tourism Authority of Thailand).
In case Alyssa is unavailable during your stay, her staff will hand over the keys and provide you with the house rules either over the phone or in the Agoda section of the house rules.
Alyssa can be contacted through several chat apps or by calling her phone directly. She will respond to you as soon as she is available. Alyssa is an excellent communicator, and she also works for a top PR and communication company in Bangkok. She is fluent in English, Thai and Mandarin Chinese. There are some house rules you need to follow during your stay at the Dome Treehouses to ensure your safety and the safety of others in the mountains.
1. No smoking is allowed to prevent fire accidents.
2. Do not open the door to any unwanted animals as you are staying in treehouses located in the countryside around the mountain.
3. Outdoor cooking at the sink is mandatory, and you can get the necessary equipment from the treehouse.
4. The property does not serve breakfast or meals. However, you can find resort and local food shops, and weekend riverside markets offer local and delicious food, coffee and drinks at different price ranges from very cheap to upscale.
5. As the location is remote, driving or renting a car is convenient. It takes 13 km to reach the entrance where you can find a local shop.
6. If you don't have a car, please consult with Alyssa to rent a car, airport pick-up service to her place in 2.5 hours, electric motorbike, or bicycle with a fee applied per day.
7. Petchaburi province offers natural resources like beaches, rivers, mountains, fountains, and popular tourist areas like Hua Hin and Cha Am. Therefore, it is reasonable to plan your trip and drive around.
8. The mountain dogs are friendly and hungry. However, please ensure that you feed them in designated spots to avoid attracting ants, rats, or other unwanted animals inside and outside the treehouses. Please keep all food inside containers in the fridge.
9. At night, the dogs may howl, especially during breeding seasons. If you need peace for sleeping, you can keep earplugs handy. They only howl once or twice at night.
10. After you check-in, you will receive the house rules electronically. If you break any rules, Alyssa may cancel your booking during your stay and arrange for you to cook with others.
11. As the location is an old development inside the golf course, please check in earlier to ensure you have ample daylight to find your way, and staff can accommodate you at the property. This is a residential area and not a hotel/resort. Thank you.
