The infrastructure here is very well developed. The main road is about 350 m from the beach. There is a large supermarket Big C, 7-eleven and Family Mart stores, banks, cafes, restaurants. There are many massage parlors along the beach. The cost of a massage is from 300 baht/hour.
Along most of the coastline there is a concrete pedestrian path. In the central part of the beach, on one side of it there are cafes and several hotels on the first line, and on the other side there is the beach and the sea. In addition to the pedestrian path with cafes along the sea in Kamala there are also several small tourist ones, along which you can walk in the evening.
On Kamala Beach itself, you can rent a jet ski, ride a banana boat or a tube, or rent a SUP board. Kayaks are available for rent in the northern part of the beach near the Novotel hotel.
There is a viewing platform with a good view, Laem Sing View Point. The platform is equipped with a small gazebo where you can have a great time watching the sunset.
In the southern part of Kamala, there is a small Buddhist temple, Wat Kamala, which will impress you with its beauty. When going to the temple, do not forget that you should dress appropriately for such places. Baan Kamala Temple is the spiritual center of the city. Many locals visit it every day. There are monastic cells and other buildings on the territory. Near the temple there is a small bell tower with a chapel. Inside it, according to Thai tradition, there is a statue of Buddha.
The world-famous entertainment show Phuket Fantasea is located here.
