A perfect place for a holiday lunch and to relax at the end of the day with a cold drink, waiting for the sunset! The team is friendly and always very welcoming, day or night.
The Good View serves reasonably good Thai food at a fair price, it’s not fancy, but with such an amazing setting on the beach, the beautiful ocean and sunset, it is always a memorable experience. Try the Tod Man Koong (deep-fried shrimp cakes) or the deep-fried spring rolls as an appetiser. The Khao Pad Saparot (fried rice in pineapple) is always been a popular dish and a nice photo to take back home. Then you have all the classic Thai dishes: Tom Yum Koong (a delicious spicy soup with large prawns), Tom Kha Kai (coconut milk soup with chicken), fried rice and fried noodles. Sweet and sour pork is always popular if you can’t eat spicy food. And of course, the most popular dish for many travellers is always the classic Pad Thai.
The restaurant is located roughly opposite the Slate Resort, but you might not spot it easily from the street. Just walk to the beach and look around; you will see a cluster of 2 or 3 beach restaurants, and The Good View is easy to spot.
