Located in the middle of the French Quarter and Old Quarter, Hanoi Retro 80s Homestay complex is a rare gem to find and to stay. It was home to generations of different Vietnamese family from the 1980s and is now open for agoda guests to rent the entire place.
Dwell yourself in the dreamy sunshine terrance and while sipping hot Vietnamese green tea and enjoy your slow-living as an Hanoian.
Built in the 1980s period, Hanoi Retro 80s Homestay is inspired by the Việt Nam Đổi Mới (Economic Reform) era interior design with modern touches like Fast Wifi, Air Conditioning which brings you a retro yet comfortable experience during your stay. Our complex is split into 6 rooms with common features:
∙ The highlight of our complex is our lovely outdoor terrance, with paranomic view and electric plugs, perfect for some tea relax time or working hours in the sunshine right in the middle of Hanoi.
∙ 6 Sleeping area with 8 Beds (4 comfy queen sized bed and 4 comfy single beds that can be push into a giant bed with Akemi Uchi mattress).
∙ 4 spacious and clean bathroom/toilet area with Hot Water (about 4 metres squared).
We also offer airport pickup service at fixed rate, a lot cheaper than regular taxi but with cleaner, newer car and better care from our driver. Please let us know if you need this.
Our neighbors have laundry (delivered to you, folded clean clothes) for 50,000vnd/dry kilogram (about $2/kg) -- convenient payment via agoda.
You will get all the place too yourself. All the bells and whistles!

The neighborhood is familiar with foreigners. There are many cool and stylist shops and cafes to visit in the area :)
It is a quiet neighborhood so NO PARTIES ARE ALLOWED. We are a tranquil alley
We have no curfew but the alley gate will be lock after 11:00PM. We will be providing you with the keys and instruction to open/locked this gate. Also, please make sure to keep it quiet after 11:00PM in the neighborhood.
There are plenty of bus routes around and Grab Bike is always available as a cheaper, safe, clean, convenient transport compared to taxi :)
If you need parking for car or motorbike, please notice us in advance so we can support you with the location.
We have also prepared a customized travel guide for Hanoi, so you can refer to that whenever you need to know about money exchange, transportation, food & drinks recommendation, etc.
You will have to climb the staircase (3 floors) to reach our complex. But don't worry, you will feel it is worth the calories when you see our open spaces.
