Located in Schattwald in the Tannheim Valley, only 150 metres from the Wannenjoch Cable Car, Alpengasthof zur Post offers a traditional Tyrolean restaurant and a spa area with a Finnish sauna, an organic pine sauna, an infrared cabin and two relaxation rooms. Free WiFi is available. The Alpine-style rooms come with a seating area, a flat-screen satellite TV, and a bathroom. Guests of the Alpengasthof can use a ski storage room with a ski boot dryer. Free private parking is available on site, and local and ski buses stop just 10 metres away. On request, guests and their children can visit Stanzlerhof, the owner's farm, and discover several farm animals, such as goats, donkeys, cows and pigs. Free pony riding for children is offered as well as a tour on the premises of the 300-year old farm house. Climbing facilities featuring 250 m² climbing wall and 170 m² boulder wall for beginners and experts and a large children's play area are within 5 km of the property.
