Back in 1930, after leaving Dragove to work in New York , grandpa Mate built a beautiful house opposite the old one in harmony with nature surroundings. It has a fully equipped kitchen with a gas stove and refrigerator with mini freezer, wooden stairway, a large hallway and two sleeping rooms in the first floor and spacious bathroom and a hallway in the ground floor.The sleeping rooms are equipped with queen size beds, high quality mattresses and cable TV. All windows are protected with a built-in, solid and easy to use mosquito net. On the ground floor there is a living room with the kitchen, bathroom and a hall. A spacious stone courtyard is shared with House Aunt Regina dating from 1882. A stone barbecue in the shade of a sixty year old fig tree and an outdoor dining table make space for a comfortable dining. Two houses can accommodate 12 guests. There is a parking lot for four cars in the back yard.
