Located just 28 km from Lieksa, in the heart of Finnish Karelia, this traditional farmhouse style B&B offers accommodation next to Lake Pielinen. Free WiFi featured in the common areas. The rooms at Herranniemi have private bathrooms and a seating area. A common living room with TV is at guests’ use. There’s also access to a shared kitchenette with fridge, coffee/tea facilities, microwave and stove. Relaxation options include the lakeside Pavillion, with its fireplace and seating area. Popular area activities include hiking, swimming and fishing. Bikes and canoes can be rented on-site and horse riding can be arranged. The Patvinsuo National Park as well as the skiing slopes of Koli are just a 60-minute drive away. Herranniemi Bed & Breakfast has free parking.
