If you don't want to take your own bikes with you, you can rent them on site. In Westerdeichstrich you can relax wonderfully away from the tourist crowds. The rural and natural little town is very close to the North Sea dike with the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. The well-kept four-kilometer-long green beach offers plenty of space for sunbathing, swimming in the North Sea waters and, of course, for exciting mudflat hikes. Activities in the area: For sports-loving holidaymakers, there are a variety of activities such as beach volleyball, surfing, tennis, fishing or horse riding. Excursion tips: Büsum with its harbor and maritime atmosphere, boat trips from Brunsbüttel, the seal stadium in Friedrichskoog or a day trip to Heligoland, Germany's only offshore island. Bed linen, towels or a laundry package can be booked with the tour operator on request, but must be paid directly on site. Tourist tax is also due for payment directly on site.
