This family-run hotel is quietly situated on the shore of the Neubäuer Weiher, a 75-hectare lake. Hotel am See offers a sauna, solarium as well as a seasonal indoor pool. The traditional, country-style rooms at Hotel am See include satellite TV, a private bathroom and a balcony. Most have a lake view. A breakfast buffet is prepared each morning, and traditional German meals are served. The restaurant is decorated with candles and fresh flowers, and specialises in local game dishes. Hotel am See is surrounded by hiking and cycling paths here in the Oberpfalz region, and it is possible to fish and surf on the lake. There are also nearby tennis courts, children’s playgrounds and a bowling alley. On-site parking is free for guests, and Neubäu Train Station is 1 km away.
