My place has everything a visitor needs for a relaxing yet convenient home away from home. It’s perfect for people who aren’t comfortable in crowded tourist resorts and prefer getting acquainted with the real people, places and life. There is living history at every turn. The island is under the guardianship of Saint Spiridon, whose relics still reside in the church in his name in Corfu town. For Orthodox Christians and for people of all spiritual leanings, Corfu is a true blessing.

My place is perfect for a couple or a couple with 2 children. You can enjoy your morning coffee on the balcony while taking in the stunning early morning view all the way to the fortress in Corfu town. Often the fog settles across the island in the early morning it creates a magical scene.

It is very challenging to find my place because it does not have a street address. This might seem unfathomable to many but it is true. Therefore it is essential that visitors carefully read the directions I send them via email on how to find my place. You are best to reach it by car when first arriving in Corfu.

Another note about parking: our parking area is very tight and can allow for only 2 cars. However you may park on the drive adjacent to the building.

Pelekas is a lovely and small mountain village loved for the stunning sunsets and for a 360° view over the island. Between 1908 and the First World War the German Kaiser, Wilhelm, spent his summers at Achilleion Palace on the east coast of Corfu. His favorite trip was to Pelekas to watch the sunset. Here, an easily accessed observation point offers probably the best panoramic views to be found anywhere in Corfu. This spot, on the rock summit above the village, is still known today as "Kaisers Throne", and from where you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the island spread out below.

My place is very close to a bus stop. My building doesn't have an actual address. PLEASE READ THE VISITOR INFORMATION IN ORDER TO LOCATE THE BUILDING BEFORE ARRIVAL! You will need to take a taxi from the airport if you don't know your way around Corfu. The buses go to and from Corfu town and can take you to the beaches. However, I absolutely recommend you rent a car at least part of your stay, so that you can travel around and see the island.
