Welcome to villa KERA, a newly renovated old farmstead. It represents the typical old farmhouses of the largest families in the area. Though within the mountain village of Kera, it is fully isolated from the outside world, and only 8km from the nearest beach! In villa KERA village you will wake up to the view of the local eagles, soaring the mountaintop and the smell of buds from over 100 different varieties of local flowers and herbs, such as wild sage, oregano, sage and rosemary.

Villa KERA is located within the mountain village of Kera, one of the oldest still inhabited villages of Crete (and therefore Greece). Inside it, you can find one of the oldest mills of Greece. It is famed for its traditional “Xirotigana”, fried dough and laced with honey and walnuts. Certainly worth a try!
Even though located in the wild mountains of Crete, the villa is still only 8 km away (roughly 15min) from the nearest beach, (Nopigia Beach). The famous beaches of Falaserna and Balos Beach are both 15 km away. The beautiful Elafonisi island is 40 km away (and a small boat ride). The nearest bigger town with a supermarket, pharmacy, gas station and health centre, is only 8 km away. It is 10 km away from the town of Kissamos, 40km from downtown Chania and 55km from the airport of Chania.

Having a car is a necessity unfortunately, but luckily you will be able to park it in the private secure parking area.
