The main living room, dining area and the open plan kitchen are on the middle level, along with a bathroom. A spacious, internal mezzanine that overlooks the living room serves as a second bedroom. On the southeastern shore of the Laconian Gulf, 115 kilometers from the prefectural capital of Sparta, is the seaside town of Neapoli. The most southern town of mainland Greece is located on the Voiai ancient city, in a calm and wind sheltered bay. Behind Neapoli one can see the Crithina mountain culminating in Cape Maleas. While its maritime tradition is still much in evidence, Neapoli has also grown to become a popular holiday destination with its clean beaches, a variety of cafes and bars and restaurants specializing in seafood including the local specialty grilled octopus.
