Geysir Cabin 4 BDR up to 10 persons -Golden Circle

 

 

 

 

This cabin is located next to Geysir(800m or 0.5 miles) and Gullfoss (The golden circle) beside the mountain Bjarnarfell (727m). Good base for sightseeing South Iceland set in a beautiful quite nature. The weather is usually more nicer here compared to the coast since it is located far inland.
Interesting destinations nearby by car:
Haukadalur forest (3 km). One of Icelands biggest forest with good walking paths.
Geysir(3min) and Gullfoss(10min).
Reykholt village (20min): Swimmingpool with hotpots.
Flúðir town (30min): A cosy swimmingpool with hotpots. A supermarket.
Laugarás (28min): A village with a lot of vegetation and greenhouses. One can even buy organic vegetables. There is also the zoo Slakki.
Highland of Iceland is close by with all its raw scenery.
Kjölur: A mountain road behind Gullfoss with great scenery of Langjökull and the rugged highland landscape. The road is paved about 10 km north of Gullfoss with gravel road further on.
The summerhouse has a kitchen, 3 bedrooms, a living room and a sleeping roof with 4 beds. Toilet and a shower. Also a bed for young children. A big terrace with good view. The road up to the house is quite steep but possible with a normal car.
