This family-run guest house’s rooms include tea/coffee facilities, a patio and panoramic views of Skagafjördur Fjord. Boats to Drangey island depart from Saudárkrókur, 20 km away. Wi-Fi is free. A private entrance and private bathroom are standard in Hofsstadir - Country Hotel’s rooms. All have a desk and wooden floors. Guesthouse Hofsstadir’s summer restaurant uses seasonal produce from the farm and local region in its dishes. Breakfast includes homemade bread and jam. Geothermal swimming pools in Hofsós and Varmahlíd are within 20 minutes’ drive. The 18th-century Hólar Cathedral and Icelandic Horse History Center are similarly close by.
