In 3 acres of gardens, at the foot of Muxnaw Mountain, this family-run bed and breakfast is listed as a historic house and offers attractive en suite rooms with free Wi-Fi. Each individually furnished room at Muxnaw Lodge has a TV and tea and coffee facilities, and is traditionally furnished with antiques, solid wood wardrobes and dressing tables. Some of the modern en suite bathrooms look out over the gardens, and all have baths and power showers. A wide choice of breakfast is served each morning in the chandelier-lit breakfast room. The short walk to picturesque Kenmare town centre lets you enjoy harbour views, with the town ideally positioned for tours of the Ring of Kerry. More spectacular scenery can be found in Killarney National Park, around 30 minutes’ drive north of Kenmare.
