Villa Altea - Menfi Welcome to Menfi, welcome to my home, Villa Altea. We built Altea ten years ago in a 10000 sq m olive orchard, looking for a peaceful and enjoyable place to spend our holidays and free time. The landscape here is made of manicured orchards of olive trees and vineyards, in fact some of the most renowned and awarded Extra Virgin Olive Oils as well wines are produced in this area. Altea is a state of mind. If you are looking for an endless view with a stunning sunset every evening, and enjoy it with a glass of chilled wine from our terrace, if you like to lay down in the sun along side your exclusive 10x5m swimming pool. If you like to barbecue your fresh fish or a nice steak. Then Altea is the right place for you and your family. If you wish to get some cooking lessons, or to visit a winery and an oil mill, if you need a reliable baby-sitter just tell me I can organize it for you. Selinunte and Marinella di Selinunte If you are keen of history and archeology you cannot miss a visit to Selinunte, that is only 5 kilometers far from Villa Altea. Marinella di Selinunte is a small fishermen village that hosts not only the remains of the ancient Greek colony of Selinunte (see above) but also a daily fish auction where you can buy fresh fish sold directly by the fishermen to the highest bidder. Be there by 8:30 am and enjoy the show and be part of it! The beach Sandy and endless beaches stretch from Marinella to Sciacca (20 kilometers) of unpolluted and blue flags awarded sea shore. No Covid 19 scare as you may enjoy as much room as you need for the whole Summer season. If you prefer though an organized lido with umbrellas and beach chairs you can drive either to Marinella or to Lido Fiori Night life In Sciacca (20km from Altea) and Castelvetrano (10km) there are some discos (Nirvana & Venus). In Mazara del Vallo (30 km from Altea) you can enjoy a great pizza and visit one of the most beatiful towns of Trapani province, not to mention the fantastic food such as the fish cou ...
