This wonderful holiday accommodation is situated on the site of the former 12th century castle of Montegonzi. Thanks to its strategic location, between Florence and Siena, the castle once dominated this part of the Chianti region. In the construction of the current house, the old stones from the castle ruins were used in order to maintain an authentic atmosphere. This particular detached cottage is also known as "the house with a view" and is part of the holiday complex. In the Middle Ages it was the chapel for the hamlet of Montegonzi. The chapel was recently restored using the original stones. The house has a private pool of 6.1 x 3.8m. The beautiful garden around the complex is equipped with outdoor furniture such as chairs and sun umbrellas and there is even a stone barbecue at your disposal. From the garden you have a beautiful view of the surroundings Tuscan landscape with its characteristic cypress trees and vineyards. The complex also has a large pool (12x6m) with a maximum depth of 1.5 meters. There is also a laundry and parking for guests.
This independent cottage has an area of about 60 m2 and has also a private pool ((6.10 mt x 3.80 mt; 1.40 mt deep). It can accommodate 4 to 5 persons. On the ground floor there is a living room with a corner kitchen (equipped with a stove, refrigerator, Italian coffeemaker, kettle and toaster). The fully furnished living room has a double sofa bed. The bathroom is also located on the ground floor and is equipped with a shower, bidet and toilet. Upstairs you will find two bedrooms, both furnished with a double bed. The bedrooms also have air-conditioning. The cottage is equipped with a satellite TV and heating. A hair dryer, iron and ironing board are available upon request. Across from your pool there is a covered terrace with benches, where you can dine outside and enjoy the tranquility of this splendid landscape.
