CASA BASTIONE - This elegant apartment is located in an ancient fortress tower. It is located in the medieval part of the walled town of Lucca, along Via Fillungo which is the main exclusive shopping street. The entire building is under strict control of the Monuments and Fine Arts Office, who consider the building one of the Italian monument to be preserved. The flat is reachable via a square where parking is allowed and it is located 20 metres from the apartment. It is approx. 140 M2 large, but it looks much bigger because of its high original beamed ceiling. The recent renovation has brought to the light the original colour of the decoration of the old beamed ceiling, a real masterpiece of this flat! The kitchen is equipped of the most modern facilities. There are 2 double bedrooms (king size) + 2 large bathrooms with built-in shower and separate laundry room with washing machine and clothes dryer Minimum stay is 4 nights. For reservation confirmed before November 15th 2019 heating if used is charged extra for 8 euros daily. LAYOUT: The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor without elevator. Entrance; living room; bathroom (shower) with washing machine; twin bedroom, bathroom (shower); closet; double bedroom; fully equipped kitchen and dining- room. COVID_19 CANCELLATION POLICY FOR 2021 AND 2022 BOOKINGS In these challenging times we understand your concern when making a reservation, and we want to ensure that you feel safe and confident reserving through us. We have therefore introduced a more flexible cancellation policy, for bookings made after November 2020, with arrivals in 2020, 2021 and 2022. In case of travel restrictions of the Italian Government due to COVID_19 we will give our guests the possibility of re-scheduling the reservation to a future date. If you aren't able to decide a date immediately we will issue a voucher, that you can use for any future booking, on any of our properties. We are sorry but we are not in the position to take into consideration travel restrictions issued by other Governments, or airline cancellations.
